Gynecologic Oncology

Amanika Kumar, MD is a gynecologic oncologist at the Mayo Clinic. She specializes in complex surgery for malignant and benign conditions, including minimally invasive and open approaches. She holds a dual appointment both in the Gynecologic Surgical division and Medical Oncology. Her research is focused on building resilience in ovarian cancer patients, evaluating the effects of cancer treatments on muscle mass and function, and multidisciplinary surgical approaches to complex cancer cases.
